When entering Natural Chiropractic & Acupuncture as a new patient our chiropractic assistant will welcome you and ask that you complete our new patient forms. These forms provide Dr. Black with health history and information about your current and past condition(s).
Motor Vehicle Accident information
Consultation
During your consultation with Dr. Black, she will answer any questions you have about your healthcare, chiropractic, or acupuncture. Dr. Black will then review your health history and begin her examination.
Examination
Following your consultation, Dr. Black will perform a state of the art insight nervous system scan. The insight scan is non-invasive and consist of 3 parts: heart rate variability, thermal sensing and EMG. Once the data of each scan is collected you will receive a chiropractic adjustment and electrical acupuncture. After you received your adjustment your visit will end with intersegmental traction.
Report of Findings
Report of findings will be done on your second visit to Natural Chiropractic & Acupuncture. Dr. Black will explain the findings in her exams done on your first visit. She will then explain how chiropractic and acupuncture will benefit your health needs and set goals for your individual treatment plan.
Treatment
Dr. Black incorporates chiropractic and acupuncture into her treatment plans for optimal health. Dr. Black uses a light spinal manipulation technique along with electrical stimulation of acupuncture points. This combination allows the body to do what it is designed to do and heal itself naturally. Each patient treatment plan is individualize for his/her specific condition and healthcare goals. The number of visits one will need are determined based on the exam findings, severity of the injury, how long you have had the injury, your age, your overall health and ability to recover, your compliance with care and your ability to avoid activities that perpetuate the injury.
